Half of total cost is required for deposit at the time of booking. Stays during Holidays and Special Events must be paid in full at time of booking. All stays are paid in full upon arrival.

• Two week cancellation policy. If cancelled with at least two weeks notice, receive refund minus $25 fee per night cancelled. If cancelled within two weeks of arrival, forfeit entire deposit. If we are able to rebook the dates we will issue a refund.

We accept Small Pets (under 35 lbs.) for a one-time, non-refundable $50 pet fee. Pets over 35 lbs: a non-refundable fee of $75. A second pet is welcome for an additional, non-refundable $25 fee. (Two pets max)

For their own safety (due to staircases, priceless furnishings, antique furniture, etc.) and the consideration of other guests, children aged 10 or under are not allowed. No exceptions.

Hurricane Policy:

• If the weather service issues a hurricane advisory or warning for the Charleston, SC area, guests residing at the inn may choose to evacuate. In this case, we will charge only for those nights spent with us up to the time of the evacuation. For those guests with pending arrivals, we would retain the deposit and credit it to a future stay.

• If there is NO hurricane advisory or warning for the Charleston, SC area ~  all standard Palmer's Pinckney Inn policies remain in effect regarding charges, cancellations, early exits, deposits, etc.

Please know that Hurricanes are seldom a consideration ~ even during the "peak" months of August & September.  It is rare that we are affected by severe weather of any kind.
